What is Stack Precision?
Stack Precision is a personal health tracking app that brings together supplement management, health journaling, genetic insights, and private AI—all in one place.
- Supplement tracking — Create stacks, set flexible schedules, and get reminders
- Health journaling — Log daily wellness metrics (energy, mood, focus, stress, sleep quality, pain) and symptoms to spot patterns over time
- Genetic profiles — Upload your raw data file from most consumer genetic testing and sequencing services and get a transparent Genetic Profile across 194 targeted variants and 19 health categories. Your raw file is never stored.
- Research notes — Save and organize health-related articles and notes
- Private AI assistant — Ask questions about your data with AI that never sees your name or trains on your information

Is Stack Precision a medical app?
No. Stack Precision is a wellness organization and tracking tool. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The app helps you organize information and track your routine—it does not tell you what supplements to take or replace professional medical guidance.
What does the AI assistant do?
The AI assistant is a conversational tool powered by Google Vertex AI (Gemini) that can answer questions about supplements, wellness topics, and general health information. It can reference your stored data (supplements, journal entries, genetics) to provide more relevant responses—but it does not diagnose conditions or prescribe treatments.
Think of it as a knowledgeable research assistant, not a doctor. AI requires explicit consent before use, and this consent renews monthly to keep you in control.
How is my health data protected?
We take your privacy seriously. Stack Precision implements HIPAA-aligned security practices:
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256)
- We never sell your data to anyone
- You control what data is shared with the AI assistant
- Your personal identifiers (name, email) are never sent to AI providers
- Comprehensive audit logging of all data access

What genetic data do you store?
When you upload your raw data file from a consumer genetic testing or sequencing service, we scan it on your device for the 194 specific variants we track—each one linked to published health research. We never store your raw data file. Only the targeted variants we explicitly tell you about are saved, and only after you review and individually select which markers to keep via a checkbox consent screen.
Each variant is categorized into one or more of 19 health categories and visible in your Genetic Profile. For every stored variant, you can see:
- Why we track it — a plain-language explanation of why this variant is in our database
- What it may mean — what published research says about the variant
- What AI sees — the exact text sent to our AI provider if you include genetics in a conversation
- Research sources — links to peer-reviewed studies supporting our interpretation
- Your raw data — your genotype and variant details
You can also manually enter individual variants if you prefer. All genetic data requires your explicit consent before storage, and you can delete it anytime from within the app.

How does subscription and pricing work?
Stack Precision is free to use for supplement tracking, journaling, genetic profiles, and research notes. These core features are free forever, regardless of subscription status. A subscription is only required if you want to use AI features:
- Free forever — Supplement tracking, journaling, genetic profiles, research notes, and all core features
- 3-day free trial — Full access to AI features with $1 in AI credits included
- Monthly ($4.99/mo) — AI health assistant access with all AI model tiers
- Annual ($49.99/yr) — Same AI access at ~$4.17/month (2 months free)
- AI credits — Pay-as-you-go, separate from subscriptions. We sell credits at cost with zero markup—the price covers only the app store fee and the AI provider's charges
No payment information is required to start using the app or to begin your AI trial.
Founding Members: Users who created accounts before the subscription system launched receive lifetime AI access without a subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your app store:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > Stack Precision
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > Stack Precision
Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid being charged for the next period.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, not directly by us. To request a refund:
- iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Android: Open Google Play, go to your purchase history, and request a refund
Refund eligibility is determined by Apple or Google according to their policies.
How do I export my data?
You can request a complete export of your data using the contact form above and selecting "Data Export or Deletion" as the topic. We'll provide your data in a standard format within 30 days. All your data is also accessible directly within the app.
How do I delete my account and data?
You can request account deletion from within the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account) or by using the contact form above.
- You have a 30-day grace period to cancel by logging back in
- After the grace period, your personal data and health information are permanently deleted
- Security audit logs (which don't contain health data content) are retained for 7 years per HIPAA requirements
Lapsed subscriptions: If your subscription expires and you don't resubscribe or become a Community Contributor, your account follows an automatic deletion timeline: 30-day lapsed period (data intact, core features available), then a 7-day grace period with in-app notification, then permanent deletion at day 37, with full system purge at day 67. You can prevent deletion at any point by resubscribing or opting into the Community Contributor program. See Section 6.8 of our Privacy Policy for full details.
The app isn't sending me notifications. What should I do?
Check the following:
- Ensure notifications are enabled in your device settings for Stack Precision
- Check that you've enabled reminders in the app (Settings > Notifications)
- Make sure "Quiet Hours" isn't blocking notifications during your desired times
- Try toggling notifications off and on again in the app

I found a bug or have a feature request. How do I share it?
We'd love to hear from you! Use the contact form above and select "Bug Report" or "Feature Request" as the topic. For bugs, please include your device type, app version (found in Settings), and steps to reproduce the problem.
What is a Genetic Profile?
Your Genetic Profile organizes your genetic data across 19 health categories including Methylation & B Vitamins, Vitamin D Metabolism, Detoxification, Pharmacogenomics, and more. Each category shows your specific variant status.
Tap any variant to see transparent detail sections: why we track it, what it may mean, what AI sees (the exact text), research sources with links to peer-reviewed studies, and your raw data. If data is missing for a variant, we say so—no guessing, no filler.

What are Community Trends?
Community Trends show anonymized, population-level supplement patterns—what people with similar genetics are taking. All data is fully de-identified with no personal identifiers.
Participation is entirely opt-in. You can withdraw at any time from within the app, and your de-identified contributions will be permanently deleted from our analytics systems. See Section 12 of our Privacy Policy for details on how data is collected and de-identified.
What is the Community Contributor program?
When your subscription ends, you may choose to become a Community Contributor. This is entirely optional and requires separate, explicit consent.
- Your supplement and genetic grouping data (as it existed at the time of your last active subscription) remains in the anonymized trends pool
- No new data is synced—your contribution is frozen at the point of donation
- You retain free, read-only access to Community Trends and full access to all core features (supplement tracking, journaling, genetic profiles, research notes)
- You do not have access to AI features as a contributor
You can withdraw your contributor consent at any time in Settings, which triggers immediate, permanent deletion of your contributions from our analytics systems. You can also resubscribe at any time to restore full access. See Section 10 of our Terms of Service for full details.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Core features—supplement tracking, health journaling, genetic profiles, and research notes—are free forever. Only the AI assistant requires a subscription.
If you cancel, you keep full access to all free features. Your data stays safe and accessible. You may also be offered the option to become a Community Contributor, which gives you free read-only access to Community Trends in exchange for keeping your anonymized data in the trends pool. If you decide to reactivate AI later, you can resubscribe anytime.
If you take no action after your subscription expires, your account follows the lapsed account deletion timeline described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6.8).
