The research desk

Ask the question that's actually about you

The research desk is where you put a question to your own record. A generic article answers a stranger; here the answer comes back built first from your own entries, grounded in vetted research where the question calls for it.

A chat answer that reads a question about how the last few days have felt against the person's own journal and genetic markers.

A question in your own words, answered from your own entries and marked as grounded in your data.

Question in, report out

How a question becomes a cited report

Type what you actually want to know in plain language and tap Find. The answer starts from the evidence you already own: your supplements, peptides, journal, and Apple Health. Where published work belongs in the answer, the report cites the specific studies it drew from, pulled from a curated research library, not from the health pages that happen to rank first in a search.

Two depths

Get a quick answer now, or commission the deep dive

Quick query

For a fast answer, tap Find and read it right there. It draws on your record and the research and comes straight back, so you can settle a question in the moment it comes up.

Deep dive

When the question is bigger, commission a deep-dive report and keep moving. It takes longer because it digs further, works in the background, and lands in your feed when it is done.

Cited by name

Real studies, cited by name

Where an insight leans on published work, the study is named: author, year, and a link you can open and read for yourself. The same holds for the sources behind a variant in your file, so the evidence is always one tap from the claim.

How answers close into a verdict →
The sources block on a genetic variant: SNPedia listed under the sources documenting why the variant is clinically relevant, and van der Put et al. 1998 and Weisberg et al. 1998 listed as published studies on the variant's biological effects, each one a link you can open.

Chat, on your terms

Talk it through, and decide what it can see

Ask a follow-up in your own words and get an answer built from your own record. You choose what each conversation can draw from: your stacks, your journal, your meals, your genetics. Turn genetics off for one question and it stays out of that conversation.

How your data is handled →
The 'What this chat can see' toggles, locked once the chat starts: supplement stacks, journal entries, meals, and peptides switched on, genetic markers switched off.
