Terms of Service

Effective Date: February 28, 2026

Welcome to Stack Precision. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Stack Precision mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by JGA Ventures LLC, doing business as Stack Precision ("Stack Precision," "we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Stack Precision, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Stack Precision. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

3. Description of Service

Stack Precision is a wellness organization application that helps you:

  • Create and manage supplement stacks with flexible scheduling and reminders
  • Track daily health and wellness metrics through journaling
  • Store and reference genetic test results
  • Interact with an AI health assistant for informational purposes
  • Save and organize health-related research and notes
  • Participate in anonymized Community Trends to see population-level supplement and wellness patterns (opt-in; see Section 10)

The Service is designed to help you organize health information—it is not a medical device and does not provide medical services.

4. Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Stack Precision is NOT a medical device, healthcare provider, or substitute for professional medical advice. The Service does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

All information provided through Stack Precision, including content generated by our AI assistant, is for educational and informational purposes only. This information should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You Acknowledge and Agree That:

  • You will always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or modifying any supplement regimen or health practice
  • You will not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information obtained through this Service
  • You will seek immediate medical attention for any serious health concerns or medical emergencies
  • AI-generated responses are informational only and should not be considered medical recommendations or professional health advice
  • Genetic information displayed in the app is for personal reference only and requires professional interpretation
  • We make no claims about the efficacy of any supplements or health practices

5. Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately through our contact form if you suspect unauthorized access
  • Not share your account credentials with any third party

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious activity.

6. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points:

  • Data ownership: You retain ownership of the health data you input into the Service
  • Service license: You grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the Service, including storing, processing, and displaying it back to you
  • Trends license: If you opt into Community Trends (Section 10), you grant us an additional license to de-identify and include your supplement and genetic grouping data in anonymized population analytics. This license is revocable at any time by withdrawing your trends consent
  • Data accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide
  • Data security: We implement HIPAA-standard safeguards to protect your health information
  • Data export: You may request a complete export of your data at any time
  • Data deletion: You may delete your account and data at any time, subject to our data retention policies described in the Privacy Policy

7. Genetic Data

Stack Precision allows you to upload and store genetic test results from consumer genetic testing and sequencing services. By using this feature, you understand and agree:

Upload and Storage

  • Raw genetic files are parsed locally on your device and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers
  • We extract only the specific variants (194) that we explicitly track—your full genome is never stored
  • Before any data is stored, you review and individually select which markers to keep via a checkbox consent screen—we store only what you approve

Transparency

For each variant we store, you can view within the app:

  • Why we track it and its relevance to supplement response
  • What published research says about the variant
  • The exact text that is shared with our AI provider if you choose to include genetic data in a conversation
  • Links to peer-reviewed research sources supporting our interpretation

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for evaluating whether you agree with our interpretation of your genetic data and whether you want it included in AI conversations. We provide detailed transparency so you can make an informed decision.
  • Our interpretations are based on published nutrigenomic research and are for educational purposes only—they are not diagnostic and do not constitute medical advice
  • If you disagree with an interpretation, you can edit your genotype, remove individual markers, or exclude genetic data from AI conversations entirely

Deletion and Recovery

  • You may delete individual genetic markers or all genetic data at any time from within the app
  • Deleted markers can be restored within 7 days; after that, they are permanently removed
  • Deleting genetic data does not affect AI conversations that have already occurred

8. AI Features and Consent

Stack Precision includes AI-powered features. By using these features, you understand and agree:

Consent Requirements

  • AI features require explicit consent before first use
  • AI consent renews monthly to ensure you remain in control
  • You may withdraw consent at any time in Settings

Per-Session Data Controls

  • For each AI conversation, you choose which data categories to include: supplements, journal metrics, and genetic data
  • No health data is shared with our AI provider unless you explicitly enable it for that session
  • For genetic data specifically, you can view the exact text that would be sent to the AI for each variant before starting a conversation

AI Provider

  • Our AI assistant is powered by Google Vertex AI (Gemini)
  • When you use AI features, your conversation and selected health context are processed by Google's enterprise AI services
  • We never send personal identifiers (name, email, user ID) to AI providers
  • Google's enterprise API data is not used for model training

AI Limitations

  • AI responses are generated content, not professional advice
  • AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information
  • You agree not to rely solely on AI for health decisions
  • AI is not a substitute for professional medical consultation

9. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Features

Core features are free to use regardless of subscription status, including supplement tracking, journaling, genetic data storage and management, and research notes. These features remain available to all users—including those whose subscriptions have lapsed or who have become Community Contributors.

Free Trial

  • New users receive a 3-day free trial with full access to AI features
  • Trial includes $1.00 in AI credits for exploring AI features
  • No payment information is required to start your trial

Subscription Plans

  • A subscription is required only for continued access to AI features after your trial ends
  • Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription through your app store account settings

AI Credits

  • AI features use a credit-based system in addition to a subscription
  • Credits represent actual AI compute costs—we sell them at cost with zero markup. The price you pay covers only the app store fee and the AI provider's charges
  • When your credits reach zero, AI features pause until you purchase more. You are never charged unexpectedly.
  • You may optionally enable auto-topup, which automatically purchases additional credits when your balance falls below a threshold you set. Auto-topup is off by default and must be explicitly enabled by you.
  • Unused credits do not expire while your account is active

Founding Members

Users who created accounts before the subscription system launched are designated as Founding Members. Founding Members receive lifetime access to AI features without a subscription requirement. This status is permanent and is not affected by future changes to the subscription model.

Subscription Lifecycle

If your subscription expires:

  • AI features become unavailable, but all free features (supplement tracking, journaling, genetic data, research notes) remain fully accessible
  • You may resubscribe at any time to restore AI access
  • You may be offered the option to become a Community Contributor (see Section 10)
  • If you take no action, your account follows the lapsed account timeline described in our Privacy Policy (Section 6.8), which may result in automatic deletion of your data after an extended grace period

Refunds

  • Refunds are handled according to Apple App Store and Google Play Store policies
  • We do not directly process refunds—please contact your app store

10. Community Contributor Program

Stack Precision offers a Community Trends feature and a Community Contributor program. Both are entirely optional and require explicit, separate consent.

Community Trends

Active subscribers may opt into Community Trends, which aggregates anonymized supplement and wellness data to show population-level patterns. See our Privacy Policy (Section 12) for complete details on what data is collected, how it is de-identified, and your controls.

Community Contributors

When your subscription ends, you may choose to become a Community Contributor. This requires a separate, explicit consent distinct from your original trends participation consent.

  • Your supplement and genetic grouping data, as it existed at the time of your last active subscription, remains in the anonymized trends pool
  • No new data is synced—your contribution is frozen at the point of donation
  • You retain free, read-only access to Community Trends and full access to core features
  • You do not have access to AI features or premium features as a contributor

Contributor Consent and Withdrawal

  • We do not pre-select donation on your behalf or use dark patterns to pressure participation
  • You are presented the option at most twice: once before your subscription expires, and once after
  • You may withdraw your Community Contributor consent at any time in Settings—this triggers immediate, permanent deletion of your de-identified contributions from our analytics systems
  • You may resubscribe at any time, which automatically transitions you back to a full active account
  • If you never open the app after your subscription ends, your data follows the standard lapsed account deletion timeline—it is not automatically donated

11. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, networks, or other users' accounts
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or its components
  • Use the Service to provide medical services or advice to others
  • Misrepresent AI-generated content as professional medical advice
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, and functionality, is owned by Stack Precision and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of our content without permission
  • The Stack Precision name, logo, and related marks are our trademarks
  • You retain ownership of content you create (journal entries, notes, etc.)

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Information provided will be accurate, complete, or current
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • AI-generated content will be accurate, reliable, or suitable for your situation
  • Genetic variant interpretations will be complete, current, or applicable to your individual health circumstances
  • Any errors or defects will be corrected

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STACK PRECISION AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Any health outcomes or medical decisions resulting from use of the Service
  • Any decisions made based on AI-generated content or genetic variant interpretations
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Service interruptions or inability to access the Service
  • Automatic deletion of data following a lapsed subscription, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Any third-party conduct or content

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Stack Precision and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any content you submit or transmit through the Service

16. Termination

Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time through the app (Settings > Account > Delete Account). Upon requesting deletion:

  • You have a 30-day grace period to cancel by logging back in
  • After the grace period, your personal data and health data are permanently deleted
  • Security audit logs are retained for 7 years per HIPAA requirements

Automatic Account Deletion (Lapsed Subscriptions)

If your subscription expires and you do not resubscribe or become a Community Contributor:

  • Day 0–30: Your account enters lapsed status. Your data remains intact and core features remain available. You may resubscribe at any time.
  • Day 30: Your account transitions to pending deletion with a 7-day grace period.
  • Day 37: If no action is taken, your data is permanently deleted.
  • Day 67: All records are permanently purged from our systems.

You can prevent automatic deletion at any point during this timeline by resubscribing or opting into the Community Contributor program. We will notify you within the app before deletion occurs.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Pose a security risk to the Service or other users

Effect of Termination

Upon termination (whether by you, by us, or automatically):

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect (including Sections 4, 13, 14, 15, and 17)

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

18. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Stack Precision regarding the Service
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign our rights without restriction
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control
